Job Summary
The Food Service Associate is responsible for daily operations of the store’s deli and food service, ensuring high sanitation standards, store appearance, and guest service. Responsibilities include processing cash register transactions, preparing and cooking deli items, maintaining cleanliness, and displaying products per guidelines. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of foodservice or retail management experience and must possess reliability, transportation, and be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Flexibility for various shifts is required.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants must be at least 16 years old
- Flexibility to work weekend, holiday and/or evening shifts
- Must have 2 years foodservice or retail management
- Must have reliable transportation and an active driver’s license
- Must have the ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Be dexterous enough with hands and fingers to use equipment including knives, slicers, burners, ovens, fryers and rotisseries
Desired Qualifications
- Serv-safe certification preferred
- Vocational or Technical Education
