Job Summary

Assemble, deliver, and retrieve patient meals while sanitizing dishes, utensils, and designated areas. Handle stocking and department requisitions, using standardized recipes to prepare food items for the tray line, cafeteria, and special functions. Follow established systems under the direction of the Food and Nutrition Services Director to ensure operational objectives are met, adhering to all regulatory and agency standards. Requires one-year hospital food service experience and basic math and communication skills.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to read and write English
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Excellent communication skills

Desired Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education
  • One-year hospital food service experience
