Food Service Assistant -- Van Buren (15957)

Perform general food service operations including preparation, handling, cooking, and washing pots, pans, and silverware. Serve as a point-of-sale register for breakfast and lunch while processing daily tally counts for claim reimbursement. Assist with cleanup duties and maintain open communication with all people served by the Food & Nutrition Department. Participate in short courses, meetings, and in-service training as requested. Available to work flexible hours between 8:20am and 1:20pm. This nine-month position offers summers off and nights and weekends off, allowing employees to work the same schedule as their kids' school schedule and return home when they are home.
