Job Summary
Assist Food Service Manager in operating a high-volume restaurant department at Buc-ee’s, overseeing product offerings (Jerky, Smoked Meats, Sausage, BBQ, Bakery, Sandwiches, Grab and Go, Tacos, Burritos, Hot Dogs) and resolving customer issues with a friendly, professional approach. Lead and develop employees, ensure compliance with safety rules and industry standards, and maintain accurate foodservice operating reports. Engage in food planning and preparation, sanitation, and food handling; utilize MS Office (Excel, Outlook) and POS/transaction devices (Kiosks, Printers, Tickets, Touch Screens). May require relocation; schedule includes weekends and holidays; expect prolonged standing and physical duties. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant Food Service experience preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office including Excel & Outlook
- Experience with POS and transaction devices (Kiosks, Printers, Tickets, Touch Screens)
- Ability to manage food service employees and ensure safety and quality
- Ability to perform essential functions with/without accommodation
- Relocation may be required
- Work weekends and holidays
- Prolonged walking or standing for 8 hours or more
- Equipped with knowledge of food planning, sanitation, and food handling
- Experience in various kitchen equipment ( mixers, slicers, ovens, knives, fryers)
- Understanding of federal, state, and local laws pertaining to food service
