Job Summary
Monitor and record food temperatures, set up and maintain sanitized serving areas, and prepare and serve food items. Restock food areas, clean and sanitize equipment, and receive payment for food and beverages using a computerized register. Operate equipment including grills, beverage machines, toasters, ice cream dispensers, cash registers, steam equipment, dishwashers, refrigerators, and freezers while complying with HACCP guidelines. Provide outstanding customer service and effectively communicate with patrons and co-workers. Maintain quality control standards and demonstrate the ability to work independently on your feet for the majority of the day.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 16 years of age
- Possesses ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions
- Ability to perform basic math
- Possesses ability to be on feet for the majority of the day and walk far distances
Desired Qualifications
- Preferably, displays experience working in the food industry
- Previous customer service experience
- Retail counting and reconciliation of money
- Knowledge of food service
- Possesses ability to work independently when necessary
- Maintains quality control standards
- Demonstrates ability to establish effective working relationships
- Provides outstanding customer service
- Effectively communicates with patrons and co-workers
- Possesses ability to work independently when necessary
