Food Service Assistant II - Food and Nutrition - Per Diem Evenings

Per diem, evenings position at Edward Hospital in Naperville. The Food Service Assistant II performs a wide variety of duties involved in preparing and/or serving foods and beverages in healthcare food service environments, and is responsible for the assembly, serving and/or delivery of meals to patients and/or staff in an efficient, professional, and timely manner. This role functions as part of the team that ensures food safety and quality for patients, visitors and staff. Certification: Food Handler Training Certificate Program (ANSI Accredited) within 30 days of start date is required. Preferred: High School Diploma or GED and minimum of one year of food service experience in a healthcare setting.
