FOOD SERVICE ASSISTANT; FT

Food Service Assistant in a hospital setting responsible for assembling patient and mobile meal trays per approved diet guidelines, loading and transporting carts, delivering meals to patient rooms, serving visitors in the cafeteria, handling cash transactions and daily reports, and maintaining cleanliness with sanitation procedures. Performs various food service duties including meal prep, catering support, stocking and replenishing supplies, maintaining food temperatures, and adhering to safety standards. Requires basic knowledge of food service in healthcare, strong customer service, and intermediate computer skills; no formal education or prior experience required. Hours include 6:00 am – 8:00 pm shifts with every other weekend and rotating holidays; full-time position with benefits and pay range $18.85–$28.30 per hour.
