Job Summary
Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes, adjusting yields and managing inventory to minimize waste. Maintain strict food safety protocols by adhering to USDA Offer vs. Serve policies, HACCP standards, and sanitation procedures while keeping all equipment and work areas clean. Operate cash registers, process customer transactions, and accurately report food usage for production plans. Perform cashier functions efficiently, store leftovers safely, and assist with merchandise presentation. Complete assigned duties within allotted time, follow oral and written schedules, and maintain a helpful attitude toward students, staff, and coworkers. Tolerate extreme heat and cold environments, wear assigned safety gear, and report accidents immediately.
Required Qualifications
- Tolerates extreme heat and cold environments as a condition of the position.
- Wears assigned uniform including safe non-slip work shoes and hair restraint.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screening, as outlined in our drug-free workplace policy - Charlotte County Public Schools Policy 3124.
Desired Qualifications
- Diploma: high school or equivalent preferred.
- Certification: ServSafe certification preferred.
