Job Summary
Monitor and record proper food temperatures, set up and maintain a clean, sanitized serving area, and prepare and serve food items. Restock food areas, clean and sanitize equipment, and receive payment for food and beverages using a computerized register. Operate equipment including grills, beverage machines, toasters, ice cream dispensers, cash registers, steam equipment, dishwashers, refrigerators, and freezers. Work day shifts with varying start times, including E/O weekend and holiday rotations with weekend differentials. Maintain quality control standards and provide outstanding customer service while complying with HACCP guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 16 years of age
- Possesses ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions
- Ability to perform basic math
- Possesses ability to be on feet for the majority of the day and walk far distances
- Serv Safe may be required to obtain within a designated time frame
- Basic Life Support (BLS) may be required depending upon location requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Preferably, displays experience working in the food industry
- Previous customer service experience
- Retail counting and reconciliation of money
- Knowledge of food service
