Food Service Ambassador

Provides excellent customer service utilizing the CARE standards when assisting patients with meal ordering, delivering meals and snacks, and acting as a liaison to other departments regarding patient meal services. Uses the food service software to record patient and guest meal orders, communicates diet orders and patient requests to staff, delivers meals to patient rooms in a timely manner, assists patients with meal setup, records meal and fluid intake in the electronic medical record, and completes documentation of stocked food items to track food cost. Adheres to safety and sanitation standards and ensures compliance with applicable guidelines. Works as part of a multidisciplinary team to move health forward for patients and supports meal service operations.
