Food Service Aide (PRN - as needed)

Job Summary
Assists with preparation and service of food for patients, employees and special events, ensuring proper temperature, appealing presentation, and compliance with established standards. Maintains a clean and safe work environment, takes out the trash, ensures availability of clean dishes/utensils/glassware, delivers food to patient floors, restocks items, cleans appliances and machines, sweeps/mops floors, and documents temperature readings for the dishmachine during each shift. Experience as a Dietary Aide or Host is preferred. Food safety certification (ServSafe) required by jurisdiction. Healthcare foodservice experience is desired. Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Prep Cook or Cook preferred, but not required
- Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in detail
- Food safety certifications as required by jurisdiction (ServSafe)
- Work alongside Cooking staff to prep for daily meal service
