Job Summary
Food Service Aide handles a range of nutrition services duties: preparing, portioning, delivering patient trays, stocking supplies, operating POS, tray assembly, cleaning, and supporting catered functions; ensures proper temperatures and nutrition order compliance, uses two patient identifiers for safety, and supports patient meal requests in a hospital setting. Part-time evening shift (3:30PM-8:30PM) with every-other weekend/holiday work; prior food service or customer service experience preferred; on-the-job training provided; educational requirement is a high school diploma or GED equivalency preferred.
