Job Summary
Prepare, set, and serve all food as directed, ensuring proper temperatures and portion sizes. Perform minor food preparation and portioning tasks, then deliver trays to patients using two identifiers for safety. Double-check trays for accuracy and nutrition order compliance before delivery, assisting patients with tray elements as needed. Pick up soiled trays promptly and return them to the kitchen. Stock supplies, operate the POS system, and handle general cleaning including ware washing. Deliver, stage, and clean up catered functions while answering and processing patient meal requests. Requires walking up to seven hours and lifting up to 50 lbs. High school diploma preferred; on-job training provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalency
- Ability to walk for up to 7 hours, 30 minutes at a time
- Ability to sit for up to 1 hour at a time
- Ability to stand up to 1 1⁄2 hours for 30 minutes at a time
- Ability to lift (1-50 lb.)
