Job Summary
The Nutrition Services Aide is responsible for delivering and retrieving patient trays, stocking supplies, operating a POS system, portioning food, and performing general cleaning tasks within the foodservice department. Duties include preparing and serving food, assisting with tray assembly, ensuring tray accuracy, and maintaining food quality. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and benefit from customer service or food service experience although it is not mandatory. Physical requirements include walking, standing, and the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalency preferred
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- Ability to operate a POS system
- Ability to maintain proper food quality and temperature
