Food Service Aide - FT Day Shift

Assists cook in preparing desserts or snacks for patients; assists with preparation of meals; carries trays to patients; cleans dining area after meals; helps with salads and desserts; pours beverages; serves patients; prepares nourishments between meals; cleans and sanitizes work areas and equipment; records temperatures for freezers and walk-ins; checks and stores stock; follows diet and NPO orders; records substitutions; follows procedures for leftovers; operates dish machine and various kitchen equipment; follows standardized recipes; adheres to infection control policies; promotes the System’s image through servant leadership and collaboration on committees and projects; communicates professionally with staff, patients, and visitors; possesses basic math and computer skills with Outlook, Excel, and Word; high school diploma preferred.
