Job Summary
Establish and lead Kevin’s Natural Foods' emerging foodservice channel from the ground up by developing market strategies, building key partnerships, and driving growth across branded foodservice, colleges and universities, healthcare, and corporate dining. Responsibilities include designing a strategic sales plan to prospect and secure new business, identifying and developing key accounts, negotiating contracts and pricing, driving market penetration and competitive positioning, traveling for product demonstrations and trade shows, recruiting and managing foodservice broker networks, and conducting ride-alongs with broker partners and sales representatives. The role involves maintaining and growing relationships with key customers and channel partners, working both remotely and in the field, and performing other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of successful sales or account management experience
- Proven ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively at all levels of an organization
- Experience managing the sales process from prospecting through close
- Experience establishing relationships with key decision-makers in foodservice management companies
- Prior experience selling into branded foodservice channels including colleges and universities (C&U), healthcare, hospitality, and corporate dining
- Experience working with foodservice broadline distributors such as Sysco and US Foods
- Experience managing relationships with foodservice providers such as Aramark, Compass Group, and Sodexo (preferred)
- Ability to travel for product demonstrations, customer meetings, and industry trade shows
- Ability to recruit, onboard, and manage foodservice broker networks
- Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
