Job Summary
Fulfill and complete deliveries to CFS customers while preparing meals from scratch following exact recipes and specifications. Fill customer orders to 100% through proper measurements, portion control, and product labeling while representing CFS in a positive manner. Adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws while maintaining valid driver license and insurance. Start between $21.44 and $26.80 hourly. Requires high school diploma, valid WA Food handler's card, 2+ years food service account management experience, 6+ months delivery driver experience, and minimum 1-year high volume commercial cooking. Must possess excellent knife skills, ability to scale recipes, and clear English communication.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid WA state Food handler's card
- At least 2 years' experience in food service account management or restaurant management
- At least 6 months experience as a delivery driver (any type)
- Some knowledge of the area of service
- Ability to comprehend local maps and directions
- Hands on experience in sales
- Ability to deliver an excellent customer experience
- Experience in developing positive relationships and handling customers' needs
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures and transportation laws
- Valid driver license
- Insurance
- Qualify as a PHS Approved Driver
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to effectively multi-task
- Excellent time management skills
- Minimum 1-year high volume commercial cooking
- Ability to accurately follow and scale recipes
- Excellent knife skills
- Understanding of food service terminology
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Must be available for weekend shifts
