Job Summary
The Food Server is responsible for welcoming guests, accurately taking food and beverage orders, and ensuring timely delivery to guest satisfaction. Key responsibilities include providing detailed menu information, cultivating regulars, entering orders into POS systems, and maintaining stock levels. The role requires compliance with safety and health regulations, effective communication with guests and staff, and managing payments. Candidates should have a minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, proof of eligibility to work in the U.S., and at least two years of related experience.
Required Qualifications
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Valid Driver’s License
- 18+ years of age
- Possession of or the ability to possess all state required work cards
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years related experience
- Experience with POS systems
- Familiarity with beer and spirits
- Proper lifting techniques
- Guest relations
- Sanitation and safety
- Safe alcohol service
- Full service restaurant operations
- Ability to communicate effectively and assertively in the English language, both verbally and in writing with staff, clients, and the public
