Job Summary
The Food Server at El Torito Grill welcomes guests, takes food and beverage orders, and ensures timely delivery. Responsibilities include providing accurate menu information, maintaining stock, moving furniture as directed, addressing guest concerns, complying with safety standards, and handling transactions through the POS system. A candidate needs a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of related experience, and to be 18 years or older. Experience with POS systems, guest relations, and safe alcohol service is required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma preferred
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Valid Driver’s License
- 18+ years of age
- Possession of or the ability to possess all state required work cards
- Minimum of two (2) years related experience
- Experience with POS systems
- Familiarity with beer and spirits
- Proper lifting techniques
- Guest relations
- Sanitation and safety
- Safe alcohol service
- Full service restaurant operations
- Ability to communicate effectively and assertively in the English language, both verbally and in writing with staff, clients, and the public
