Job Summary
Food Server Assistant assists the Food & Beverage team to maintain a continuous flow of service for members and guests. Responsibilities include partnering with host staff to clean and turnover tables, ensuring glassware, silverware, china and linen are clean and organized, maintaining sufficient setups, clearing and resetting tables, delivering water and bread, refilling beverages, and performing opening/closing and side-work. The role also involves transporting soiled linen to the laundry, vacuuming and cleaning the area, aiding service staff to ensure an excellent dining experience, communicating courteously with members and staff, complying with regulations and club procedures, maintaining professional grooming, and performing additional duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage/Dining Room Managers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; plus 6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience preferred.
- Previous club experience preferred.
- Ability to verbally communicate well in English and in writing.
- Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
- Ability to interact professionally and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, co-workers and members. Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
