Job Summary
Take customer food and drink orders, prepare itemized checks, and accept payments while escorting guests to tables and managing cash registers. Clear and reset tables as needed, operate the P.O.S. system, and ensure stations remain stocked and tidy. Perform opening and closing procedures, including cashiering functions and end-of-shift paperwork, while complying with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and alcohol awareness certifications. Work in a warm, friendly, and professional manner to provide high-quality service.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Alcohol Awareness Certification
- Food Handlers certification
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
