Job Summary
Coordinate and oversee volunteers and assist the Program Coordinator – Food Services in food rescue, food donation procurement and distribution to community partners. Record, track, analyze and provide actionable insights on food rescue data. Lead volunteers and help with daily food donation organizing, measuring, packaging, and distributing of food hampers. Work with Program Coordinator – Food Services and volunteers to prepare meals and hampers for various programs. Assist with food procurement through partnership development and community outreach. Assist in special event planning regarding food logistics, abiding by provincial health guidelines. Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and sanitized premises. Collect and handle feedback from event attendees, program participants, and other community stakeholders in a professional manner. May assist in ideation and planning operations and logistics for the future cooking classes and other food programs alongside the Program Coordinator - Food Services.
Required Qualifications
- Highschool graduate with some community college training in a related field.
