Job Summary
Lead product development projects end-to-end from concept through commercialization for CK Snacks' snack portfolio. Manage multiple high-impact development projects in parallel, translating customer briefs into actionable trial plans covering formulation development and process parameters. Develop, review, and maintain accurate technical documentation including formulas, specifications, nutritional information, and regulatory data. Ensure product compliance with FDA, CFR, FSMA, and applicable customer-specific safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. Provide hands-on technical support during commercialization at manufacturing facilities, identify new ingredients and process innovations, and modify existing products to improve quality, cost, and manufacturing efficiency. Mentor junior Food Scientists and collaborate with Sales, Operations, Quality Assurance, and Procurement to bring innovative products to market. Strong emphasis on data-driven decision-making, sensory and analytical evaluations, and cross-functional teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant product development experience in a food manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple development projects from concept through commercialization
- Working knowledge of FDA, CFR, nutritional labeling, and food safety standards
- Proven ability to manage projects independently and prioritize effectively without daily oversight
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
