Job Summary
Drive projects from concept development through specification, commercialization, and production as a Food Scientist focusing on dairy product applications. Responsible for completing assigned projects on time, maintaining documentation, producing samples, and preparing support materials such as spec sheets and formulation letters. Collaborate with sales and QA teams while adhering to GMP requirements. Must have a strong understanding of dairy ingredients, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office.
Required Qualifications
- BS/MS in Food Science or related scientific field
- 5+ years of dairy product development or application experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of dairy ingredients and multiple dairy applications
- Excellent computer proficiency: MS Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
- Knowledge of SQF, GMP’s, Kosher, Sanitation, Allergen, Organic practices
