Job Summary
Conduct daily sanitation and cleaning of equipment, offices, restrooms, and lunchrooms in baking and packaging functions. Maintain the warehouse sanitation program using a Master Cleaning Schedule and evaluate sanitation issues related to dough mixing. Perform daily self-inspections of equipment and report all equipment problems or safety incidents to the foreman or supervisor immediately. Assist in training new employees and promote safety by following all general and specific safe job procedures. Work on a flexible shift basis, including potential all-shift schedules, while maintaining CPR and AED certification.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- One year experience in a food manufacturing facility
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals written in English
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Must be Safety conscience
- Must have flexible work schedule
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
