Job Summary
Lead and manage quality and food safety programs at the Blue Anchor, NJ plant. Responsible for HACCP and SQF compliance, sanitation/microbial programs, allergen management, line validations, third-party audits, and maintaining the site QFS SOPs and KPI metrics. Supervises QFS Technicians, trains staff, manages the QFS lab budget, and supports production with continuous improvement initiatives and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, microbiology, or related field
- HACCP and SQF certification
- Minimum of three years experience in quality & food safety
- Strong written, verbal communication and computer skills (MS Office)
- Experience in a union environment
- Hands-on microbiology laboratory experience
- SAP software experience
