Job Summary
Monitors production of food, including ingredient, lot code, and process verifications; measures product parameters (weight, packaging, sensory data, and identity preservation like Organic, Non-GMO, Kosher, allergens) to ensure specifications; initiates and releases product/equipment holds for non-conformances or pending micro analysis; records data in the Product Grading Spreadsheet and notifies FSQ team when out of specification; inspects plant areas for GMP issues and maintenance; verifies HACCP records and logs; performs calibration verifications on scales and thermometers; performs monthly metal detection validation; monitors pest control and submits work orders; provides daily FSQ summaries to supervisors; benefits include discount meals, PTO, 401(k) match, insurance, growth opportunities; rate of pay $25.00-$32.00/hour, DOE.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- HACCP certification is a plus, but not required
- Must obtain Washington State Food Handler’s Card within 15 days of start.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, power point and Outlook
