Job Summary
Rotating 2nd shift QA/food safety technician in a pet-food processing facility responsible for executing quality audits, monitoring food safety programs (cGMP, FSMA, HACCP, SQF), sampling across production lines (including aseptic sampling), documenting results, calibrations, and cross-functional communication to support product compliance and CAPA processes. Must generate accurate reports, maintain adherence to SOPs, participate in SQF audits, and assist with on-site laboratory tasks. Requires data entry (Excel/Outlook), familiarity with ERP/QAD and Redzone, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and work in refrigerated environments (40-50 F). Bilingual candidates (Spanish, Vietnamese, Arabic, French) preferred. Strong teamwork, clear communication, and the ability to work holidays/weekends as needed are valued.
