Job Summary
Perform physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems, documenting and calculating results accurately. Execute corrective actions by alerting personnel to adjust processes, identifying and isolating non-conforming products, and reporting findings to management. Handle additional assignments as requested while maintaining strict adherence to food safety standards. This role requires a high school diploma or GED with at least one year of food manufacturing or quality assurance experience. Applicants must reside in the United States, as sponsorship is not available. The position offers a weekly pay of $31.73 plus shift differential, with eligibility for overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year experience in the food manufacturing industry OR related Quality Assurance type experience
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork
- Must be willing and able to lift up to 75 lbs
- Must be able to stand on hard surface for up to 12 hours per day
- Must work in cold/hot temperatures typically ranging from 30-90 degrees Fahrenheit
- Must be able to work in wet environment
- Must be able to reach high and low levels frequently
- Must be able to climb step ladders and or stairs
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Must reside in the United States to be considered
- Must be able and willing to work a rotating schedule between 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
- Must function well under stress
- Must have flexibility to work where and when needed
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
