Job Summary
Lead on QA/QC and sanitation program execution across warehouse operations; act as SQF Champion; drive continuous improvement projects, analyze defect data to identify trends, and support the Quality Engineer with validation of new equipment and implementation of the electronic QMS. Build a culture of safety, quality, and accountability; oversee training and coaching of the QA team; ensure compliance with FSMA, GMP, OSHA, and regulatory standards; manage supplier compliance and regulatory documentation; collaborate with facilities, procurement, and operations to optimize warehouse quality and fulfillment processes.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing), Food Science, Supply Chain, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 2–5 years in Quality Assurance, Continuous Improvement, or Process Engineering in manufacturing, food production, or high-volume fulfillment.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Data Analysis and Statistical Process Control; Experience with Project Management methodologies; Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles (Green Belt is a plus).
- Food Safety: FDA PCQI Certified, USDA-AMS & FSIS, GFSI-specifically SQF Preactititioner, FSMA regulations, and HACCP Certified.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills; ability to translate technical concepts for warehouse associates.
- Spanish-strongly preferred
- Supplier Management experience
- OSHA and Safety Management experience
