Job Summary
FSQA Plant Supervisor at Portillo’s leads and enforces food safety and quality programs within the assigned plant, ensuring compliance with GFSI, USDA and FDA FSMA standards. Provides day-to-day leadership to FSQA technicians, coordinates plant-wide FSQA activities from receiving through shipping, conducts GMP inspections, supports audits and environmental testing, analyzes plant-level data to identify trends and risks, and maintains FSQA documentation including HACCP/PCQI sign-off. The role requires on-site presence Monday through Friday, collaboration with the FSQA Manager, and strong coaching, training, and communication skills to uphold a robust food safety culture and drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of FSQA experience or bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry or related field
