Job Summary

The FSQA Technician 5 (2nd Shift) at our New London plant conducts physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems, documents and calculates results, and takes corrective action by alerting appropriate personnel to adjust processes and report findings to management. Responsibilities include identifying, segregating, and isolating non-conforming products, handling additional assignments as needed, and supporting a flexible schedule (Mon-Fri 1:00 PM–9:30 PM with potential overtime and weekend coverage). Candidate must meet education and experience requirements (HS diploma/GED and at least 1 year in food manufacturing or QA-related experience), possess strong verbal/written communication, demonstrate problem-solving ability, read and interpret product specifications, and be able to perform physical tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing long hours, working in cold/hot/wet environments). Safety equipment usage is required (steel-toed boots, hardhats, safety glasses, hairnets/beard nets, smocks). Additional prerequisites include LOTO certification readiness, ability to lead by example, and willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed. Required Qualifications
