Job Summary
Food Safety Manager responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the food safety management system across vegetable oil and grain processing facilities. Oversees HACCP, FSMA regulatory compliance, SQF system, and third-party audits; collaborates with Quality Director, Site Quality Manager, and operations to integrate food safety into daily procedures; co-leads audit readiness programs and ensures training, KPI reporting, and continuous improvement. Requires strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, FSMA, GFSI certification, and experience managing food safety documentation, with the ability to lead a team and coordinate cross-functional initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Safety, or related field
- 5+ years experience in food production, especially in infant or early nutrition spaces
- Experience managing 1+ direct reports
