Job Summary
Food Safety Business Partner leads food safety execution, compliance, and culture across goop Kitchen, partnering with Operations leadership to ensure regulatory adherence and brand expectations. Drives behavior and reduces risk through coaching, audits, and continuous improvement; trains managers and hourly staff; reinforces food safety fundamentals; aligns safety with daily operations; supports inspections, investigations, and incident response; collaborates on training programs and company-wide safety initiatives; travels 50-75% to support multi-unit restaurant operations and new openings. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Food Science/Public Health (or equivalent), 5–8+ years in food safety across multi-unit operations, HACCP and FDA Food Code expertise, audit experience with health departments, ability to coach operations teams, and Spanish language proficiency. Preferred: HACCP and PCQI certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Public Health, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5–8+ years of food safety experience in multi-unit restaurant operations
- Strong knowledge of FDA Food Code principles, HACCP, and active managerial control
- Experience conducting audits and working with health departments
- Ability to influence and coach operations teams in fast-paced environments
- Willingness to travel extensively (approx. 50–75%)
- Bilingual - Spanish
