Job Summary
Conduct temperature checks on products and manage unit log books to ensure HACCP compliance and FDA process adherence. Perform quality checks in the Hot Food kitchen to verify customer specifications and ensure food is placed in refrigeration systems per policy. Monitor personal hygiene, equipment cleanliness, and sanitation while supporting customer and government audits. Communicate product deviations to the unit production manager immediately and apply proper color codes to products. Maintain safety, quality, and compliance with customer specifications by notifying management of policy issues. Requires ServSafe certification and in-flight catering experience; full-time role with 10+ hour shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Experience in related discipline
- In-Flight catering experience
- ServSafe training and certification
- Must be able to lift, push, pull and move product, equipment, supplies, etc., in excess of twenty-five (25) pounds
- Detail oriented
- Strong organizational skills
