Job Summary
Deliver food orders promptly and accurately from the kitchen to members and guests, verifying each order is complete and presented according to club standards before leaving. Communicate menu items and answer basic questions regarding food preparation and ingredients while assisting servers with clearing and resetting tables. Monitor dining areas to address member needs and communicate requests to appropriate staff, maintaining cleanliness and organization of service stations and expo areas. Assist with stocking supplies, condiments, table settings, and service equipment before and during service, supporting banquet, golf tournament, wedding, and special event food service as needed. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines while collaborating with servers, bartenders, and culinary staff to provide seamless member service.
Required Qualifications
- Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain) as required by state or local regulations
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and carry trays weighing up to 40 pounds
- Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying food and service supplies
- Ability to safely navigate busy dining rooms and kitchen areas
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special club events
Desired Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, hospitality, or food service experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
