Job Summary
Deliver food from the kitchen to the dining floor with a tray, serving items directly to guests while providing names and saying "enjoy your meal." Liaise with the kitchen team to manage food orders, verify preparation standards, and report any quality issues or special requests to management. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation at the caller station, including glassware, tea cups, and soda supplies, while assisting in table cleaning and ensuring overall front-of-house order. Wash and dry trays, assemble serving condiments, and check item availability with the chef. Available for weekends, public holidays, and split shifts; basic English proficiency with Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and a positive service attitude
- Basic knowledge of Chinese cuisine or willingness to learn
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods and carry food trays safely
- Available to work weekends, public holidays, and split shifts as needed
Desired Qualifications
- experience in a Chinese restaurant or dim sum service
- Basic English proficiency: ability to communicate in Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus
