Job Summary
The Food Runner is responsible for greeting members warmly, inspecting ticket orders for accuracy, and delivering food in a timely manner. The role requires proficiency in tray and hand service, a thorough knowledge of menus, and the ability to anticipate member needs for an exceptional dining experience. The Food Runner must effectively handle customer service situations, comply with food safety programs, and adhere to club policies and uniform standards. Physical demands include standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in various conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Greets and communicates with members courteously
- Inspects ticket orders for accuracy and delivers food correctly
- Communicates directly with chef and servers
- Proficient in tray service and hand service
- Thorough knowledge of club menus and offerings
- Anticipates member needs to provide exceptional dining experience
- Effectively handles member concerns and customer service
- Completes food safety programs within 30 days of hire
- Adheres to written food handling procedures
- Works a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Works effectively as part of a team
- Complies with departmental uniform and grooming standards
- Willingness to assist other team members in their duties
Desired Qualifications
