Job Summary
Food Runner role at The Indigo Road Hospitality Group (IRHG): serves as liaison between kitchen and dining room to ensure dishes are presented and delivered timely and accurately. Maintains a clean, organized station in compliance with sanitation standards (DHEC). Requires effective communication with managers, staff, and guests, and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Benefits include health insurance, PTO, 401K, and employee discounts. Based in Bentonville, AR, in-person work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Act as liaison between kitchen and dining room staff; in a fast-paced, high-demand environment, ensure all food items are delivered in a timely fashion
- Receive and relay orders to the kitchen staff according to ticket specifications and ensure all dishes match up on every plate
- Works in a clean and organized station and adhere to all DHEC regulations for cleanliness and sanitation
- At least 1 year of restaurant experience preferred
- Have a positive energy, be ready to assist fellow staff and work as a team player
- Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees, and guests
- Flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends, weekend brunch and holidays
- Constant standing/walking with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting
