Job Summary
Greet guests upon entry and manage register transactions while serving and replenishing food items. Maintain sanitation and cleanliness throughout the restaurant, patio furniture, and storage areas. Stock condiments and utensils, file coffee and teapots, and assist in storing deliveries. Operate all line equipment, know menu pricing and item locations, and report safety or quality issues. Requires experience in food service, strong communication skills, and ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and evenings. Involves extended standing, kneeling, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work flexible schedules; including holidays, weekends, and evenings
- Knows front and back of house, storage area and ice room
- Know menu pricing, location of items and specials
- Know how each product is prepared along with its condiments
- Know how to operate all line equipment
- Exhibits a 'can do' attitude and total cooperation
- Reports safety issues and quality/spoilage issues
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
- Must be able to stand and move for extended periods
- Must be able to kneel, push, pull
