Job Summary
Deliver food orders to customers in a timely manner, safely lifting and carrying trays, plates, and glasses from the kitchen to dining room tables. Set up tables by placing appropriate tableware, utensils, decorations, and napkins. Occasionally check on customers to handle impromptu requests or issues, while providing secondary service such as serving water, refilling beverage glasses, and removing dirty dishes. Help ensure food safety regulations are followed and maintain dining room and restroom cleanliness. Perform other duties as assigned. This part-time role at The Chocolatier Restaurant, Bar + Patio in Hersheypark supports the kitchen and front-of-house staff with a focus on family fare and chocolate-themed service.
Required Qualifications
- 16 years of age or older on date of applying
- Must be able to safely lift and carry trays, plates, and glasses from the kitchen to the dining room tables
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must have a good sense of vision (either corrected or uncorrected)
- Must have visual ability to operate moving equipment such as a car, truck, golf carts, etc
