Job Summary
Food runners support the wait staff by delivering food to tables and ensuring that the correct dishes are served to guests. They must communicate effectively between kitchen and service staff and handle guest requests. Responsibilities include running food, managing table cleanliness, assisting with to-go orders, and maintaining a clean work station. Candidates should be able to multi-task, work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong interpersonal skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required, and no prior restaurant experience is needed as on-the-job training will be provided. Must be flexible and willing to assist to meet restaurant standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Must be a team player and demonstrate organizational and communication skills
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and confidence
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Must speak English fluently and be able to write in Basic English
Additional Requirements
- Must take and pass the menu test by the end of training
