Job Summary
Deliver dishes to guests quickly and accurately, warmly greet and engage with guests, maintain working knowledge of menus, ingredients, substitutions, and allergens to educate guests; monitor dining room for guest needs and service flow; ensure a seamless dining experience by coordinating with servers, bussers, hosts, and bartenders; communicate orders to back of house with attention to priorities and special requests (e.g., allergies); maintain a clean and organized running station; package leftovers and to-go items; assist with routine cleaning and uphold health and safety codes; contribute to teamwork and a positive guest experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Required Qualifications
- California Food Handlers license or ability to obtain
- Sexual Harassment and Alcohol Beverage (ABC) certifications within 2 weeks of hiring
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with positive attitude
- Knowledge of food and beverage service
- Awareness of health and sanitation policies
