Job Summary
Deliver food from the kitchen to dining rooms, patios, and banquet spaces promptly and accurately while ensuring proper presentation and plate integrity. Communicate with servers regarding table numbers, seat positions, and dietary restrictions, and assist with course pacing during plated and multi-course events. Announce dishes appropriately and support high-volume banquet service including buffets and action stations. Maintain cleanliness of service stations, replenish items, and assist with clearing tables and restocking supplies. Follow directions from Dining Room or Front of House managers and perform other assigned tasks. Work varying shifts with flexibility to accommodate event schedules.
Required Qualifications
- May be required to lift up to 35 – 45lbs.
- standing, bending, lifting and twisting for up to 90% of your shift
- frequently lifting product – such as food trays, glass racks, silverware containers etc.
- Ability to stand or walk at least 10 hours daily
- working in various temperature controlled environments
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers and leaders on a daily basis
- Ability to fulfill executive directions in a timely manner
- ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Working independently and as a team player
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in restaurants, banquets, hospitality or related fields
