Job Summary
Part-time Food Rescue Driver responsible for coordinating and executing scheduled and impromptu food rescue pickups and meal deliveries in Columbus and surrounding areas. Duties include monitoring rescue schedules, loading/unloading safely, maintaining delivery logs and mileage records, supporting CSBG/grant-related reporting, and assisting kitchen operations when not busy with rescues. Must have a valid Ohio driver’s license, clean driving record, ability to be insured under IMPACT’s policy, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Weekend availability and bilingual English/Spanish communication are preferred for engaging diverse community partners.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Ohio driver's license
- Ability to be insured under IMPACT Community Action's vehicle insurance policy
- Clean driving record demonstrating safe, responsible, and lawful driving practices
- Weekend availability required
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) preferred, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse community partners and stakeholders
