Job Summary
Casual Food Rescue Driver in Cairns delivering surplus food to charities, operating in OzHarvest’s bright yellow van, collecting and redistributing good quality surplus food and delivering it to charities around Cairns with a smile. Role involves safely navigating Cairns with an Australian driver’s licence (auto allowed), engaging with pickup/drop-off locations to inspire behaviour change, and physically loading/unloading food boxes up to 15kg. Onboarding includes safety-system training and buddy shifts leading to solo shifts; ongoing real-time logistics support. MR licence is desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Australian Drivers Licence (auto allowed)
- Experience driving
- Physically fit to load/unload up to 15kg per box
