Job Summary
Food Quality Specialist responsible for ensuring compliance with FDA, USDA, HACCP, and SkyChefs' Global Quality Standards (GQS). Maintain an audit-ready environment through GMP monitoring, temperature verification of coolers/freezers, environmental swabs and microbiological sampling, and verification of HACCP documentation. Assist the Quality Manager with training and daily initiatives to address quality, food safety, and sanitation, conduct workstation inspections, verify HACCP logs, create charts and training materials, and train hourly employees. Support Jump-off (commissary) locations and participate in ongoing process improvements; operate in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in food manufacturing, food safety, quality assurance, or regulatory compliance
- Strong knowledge of FDA, USDA, HACCP, sanitation standards, and food safety practices
- Ability to train and communicate cross-functionally
- Detail-oriented with ability to lead or support audits/inspections
- Collaborative mindset to support teams at all levels
