Job Summary
Lead shifts and manage all Mobile Food operations to ensure services are provided and staffing requirements are met, including supervision of the Food Programs Warehouse and Distribution team, support of satellite kitchens, and execution of programming such as receiving donations and food distribution. Ensure established sanitation and safety standards are adhered to and maintain the food and supplies inventory system. Assist in program development, evaluation, and community relations while driving box trucks and other agency vehicles to pack and unload trucks. Requires ServSafe certification, valid driver's license, and ability to work a full-time schedule with consistent, predictable on-site attendance, including different or extended shifts as needs arise.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years supervisory/management experience in food services operations in social services or nonprofit organization
- Regularly work a full-time schedule, with consistent, predictable on-site attendance to meet program coverage needs, and work different and or extended shifts to meet program coverage needs, as needs arise
- ServSafe certification (must be obtained within 60 days of hire and continuously maintained thereafter)
- Ability to drive a box truck and other agency vehicles with a valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Ability to pack and unload trucks
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in food service management or related field, or comparable combination of education and relevant experience
