Job Summary
Food Production Worker and Fork Lift Operator at a peanut-free facility in Sandston, VA. Responsibilities include washing, processing, and packaging products that work with tree nuts; safely operating sit-down forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials; moving raw materials and finished goods; inspecting shipments for quality and damage; maintaining a clean, sanitary work area; following GMPs and food safety standards; assisting with inventory tracking and stock rotation; wearing PPE and following safety protocols. Qualifications include forklift experience and certification for the higher-rate forklift position, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and comfort working with tree nuts in a peanut-free facility. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Full-Time).
Required Qualifications
- Sit-down forklift experience required for Fork Lift Operator positions
- Forklift certification required for the $23/hour Fork Lift Operator rate
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
- Must be comfortable working in a peanut-free facility and able to work with tree nuts daily
