Job Summary
Set up and operate production and packaging equipment, complete product and machine changeovers, and monitor line performance while responding quickly to problems. Carry out routine checks, minor adjustments, and record production and Short Interval Control (SIC) information. Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to reduce downtime and support the team in meeting production targets. Follow food safety and health and safety standards in a busy fresh food manufacturing environment. This permanent, days-only role offers a 4 days on, 4 days off schedule with a welcome bonus, productivity bonus, and opportunities for progression to Technical Operator or Supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with production equipment in a manufacturing environment
- A good understanding of production processes
- Good mechanical awareness
- Confidence identifying and solving minor production problems
- Good attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A positive and proactive approach
